Virginia “Ginger” Lee Pascal, 68, of Petersburg, MI, died Sunday, January 26, 2014, in her home.  Born, December 16, 1945 in Spruce Pine, NC, she was the daughter of Glenn and Winona (Dale) Carpenter.  She was employed by Ford Motor for 19 years, retiring in 2007.  She was a licensed cosmetologist in Michigan and Ohio, volunteer for the Monroe County Court House, Bedford’s Lions Den and United Way. She enjoyed crocheting, Facebook and sitting on her deck. Ginger was also a member of the Bedford Senior Center.

Ginger is survived by her loving children, Wanda (Frank) Westenkirchner, Charles Bennett, Jr.,  Robin (Charles) Pritchett, Heather (Bill Hardy) Rogge, Jane (Pete) Cassady, and Andrew Pascal. Sister, Patricia (Michael) Schaub, former husband, Charles Edward Pascal, 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Charles Bennett and Bernard Rogge and brother, Glenn Carpenter, Jr.

Visitation will be from 5-8 pm Thursday, January 30, 2014 and 2-9 pm Friday, January 31, 2014 at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 11:00 am.  Her nephew, Pastor Sean Leitner will officiate. Interment will follow at Whiteford Union Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to Promedica Hospice.  The family wishes to thank Amanda Connors and Cindy Majors for the special love and care they gave their mother. www.pawlakfuneralhome.com
